Few years ago I came across this wisdom quote by an anonymous saying something like this.
"Teenagers blame others, adults forgive others, the wise forgive themselves. "
Its an interesting quote, but I dont really understand the last part when I first met this quote. Why do the wise forgive themselves? But now as I grew older, I am getting to understand a little what it really means.
Ok, people who blame others are mostly immature in nature. They blame others for things. Pointing fingers on others faults and misdoings. They think that their misfortune in this world is because of this evil rotten world. They always think that they are the victim of other's doings. so there you go. A teenager.
And then as they grow to be adults. They start to realise and begin to understand what is really happening in this world. Reality comes crashing in and they start to see why others do things and they even start to realise they themselves make mistakes sometimes. This is the level when they start to forgive others. At this level, they don't really blame people anymore. At this level, they will start to see their own mistakes and start blaming themselves. Its a painful level I guess.
Now according to this quote, the wise forgive themselves..... Can u?
So what are you? a wise men, adult or a teenager?
